Recently, Jonathan Yasko has been added as a contributory columnist on Title-opoly.
His continued goal is to inform and protect the Title Industry’s future by educating title agents on potential problems that results in high out-of-pocket expenses stemming from their escrow / trust accounts.
Title-opoly is an online blog created by Ed Rybczynski, highlighting title industry observations. This blog covers many “hot topic” issues that title agents face daily and also poses new thoughts and ideas for the industry’s future. My first article is dedicated “The Problems with Escrow Accounts” and discusses the problems Title Insurance Underwriters face when agents fail to reconcile or have improperly reconciled their escrow accounts.
